Little Angels, based in the Western Cape province of
South Africa, is involved with various activities, all
aimed at making a difference to as many lives as possible in needy communities.
We have a number of projects which include
day care centres, soup kitchens, feeding schemes and a home for the aged and
physically challenged. Some of these projects are close to
us in the southern suburbs of the Cape Peninsula, whilst most of the
outreach projects are further afield along the West Coast of the Western
Cape and one on the Garden Route. All the projects are managed
from our office and help centre which is based in Tokai, a southern suburb
of Cape Town.
Many children are cared for in our family home and we also aid others in
their own homes or projects through our Help Centre and outreach programmes.
Volunteering opportunities exist for local and
foreign participants and we
also enable school learners to work in hours towards their community service
requirements, the latter subject to space and time availability. (Please
visit our volunteering page)
LITTLE ANGELS does not receive a Government grant (as we are not
registered as a Childrens' Home), only gifts from individuals and donations
from companies (on an irregular basis.) Although we are blessed with
clothing and equipment, we need to raise sufficient funds for day to day
running costs. We trust in God to provide for this ministry and we truly
appreciate all prayers and gifts.
We just would not be able to achieve any of our goals or successes, were it
not for the wonderful support of our donors and sponsors. We are truly grateful to
people such as yourselves, who help us to make a difference in the lives of the
needy, for whom we care.
