At the moment we have a number of rural projects that we support.
Our generous donors and sponsors, i.e. you!, are making a major difference to more than 1000 indigent people in extremely needy country areas.
We collect donations of food, clothing, toys and educational supplies, household groceries and furnishings and medical supplies.
With your permission, we deliver these to the needy rural folk, such as babies and small children and their immediate families, soup kitchens, feeding schemes, formal and informal creches and day care centres, a home for needy senior citizens and physically challenged children and adults.
These projects operate along the West Coast of the Western Cape, between Malmesbury and Van Rhynsdorp and we have one such project close to Hermanus, along the Garden Route.
We try to deliver goods to each project at least once per quarter, but often need to travel to some more regularly, as needs in the communities and storage space at our Help Centre dictate.
Needless to say, these trips are financially challenging for us, so any assistance towards travel expenses is greatly appreciated.
