Outreach

As part of our Outreach Project, we try to bring joy, fun and laughter to many of the underprivileged children, from poor local communities, once a month. In most cases we organise outings away from their environment and incorporate games, eats, drinks into our programme for the afternoon. The children are chosen by the project leaders of the communities being served, on a rotational basis, so that we can reach as many children as possible in a fair and structured way. We are sincerely grateful to the community leaders, the donors and sponsors of these events from time to time, and the members of our own Support Group, who help us to plan the events, cater for them and assist with transport to and from the various venues.
We had a great Easter party, thanks to the help and venue provided by Bruce and Trish Bartleet and Plumstead Presbyterian Church.
We are also hosting a number of Christmas parties during December and hope to be able to post photos of these events soon. Our sincere thanks go to all the people who have contributed towards these parties and the many Christmas hampers we have been able to make up and distribute to the needy. God Bless you all as you bless others.

Thanks to Roy Wyatt and his amazing team, our first party, held at our Tokai home, was a great time of joy and fun.

On Sunday 2nd December three friends from Aspire Recruitment in England joined us for a trip to one of our network homes for disabled children, where we delivered a host of goods and Christmas hampers. Thanks Danielle, Jo and Karen for all your help!

Our second party, also held at our home in Tokai, was made possible by Blue Continent Products (Pty) Ltd (A member of the Oceana Group) and we say a huge thank you to Lita and her awesome team of co-workers, who provided all the important parts, viz. the gifts and, of course, Santa Claus.
Thanks, again, to Bruce Bartleet and the Plumstead Presbyterian Church for the use of their venue to host another Christmas Party for the needy - the children has a ball and were spoilt with all the games and treats which were sponsored by many of our kind and caring donors
